How to Read a Scientific Paper

This module covers island biodiversity in Southeast Alaska through discussions and activities based on reading primary literature. It can be used as an in-class assignment for advanced high-school age or early college students. It is designed to span 4 one hour periods, with discussion each day to ensure students have read and understood the assigned readings. This module can be used on its own or in conjunction with the Island Biogeography module.

Attached to this page are the directions for the module and the necessary literature, as well as some supplemental material. The Module Feedback is feedback to let us know how you used the module and how well it worked for you.
