Hemoglobin Function and Variation in Wild Populations

This module guides students through the structure, function, and variation of hemoglobin in wild populations. The module was designed for use in the Plant Form & Function (BIOL 204) course at the University of New Mexico. It ties in themes from physiology, evolution, natural selection, and genetics. Instructors may find it useful to also use the How to Read a Scientific Paper module in conjunction with the Hemoglobin module.
